Sparrow Hospital

In 1896, 37 women founded what is now Sparrow Hospital. From those humble beginnings, Sparrow Hospital has grown to become a 740-bed teaching hospital and a regional leader in innovative health care. There's one thing that hasn't changed about Sparrow Hospital - its reason for being. Back then, as today, Sparrow exists to build a better community, by being a leader in the academic and professional training of its medical staff, and by being committed to advancing clinical and therapeutic applications, principles, and modalities.     learn more
