The true strength of the Sparrow Osteopathic Internal Medicine Residency Program lies with the outstanding teaching physicians who willingly give their time to help train the next generation of physicians. Sparrow has a diverse and enthusiastic pool of physicians in every medical specialty. The Program Director and core residency faculty work closely with the community-based faculty to ensure that residents receive 'hands-on' training where patient care services are always balanced with high quality education. The community based faculty and specialty rotations are reviewed annually and faculty development programs will be offered as needed to ensure that all trainers are equipped with the latest teaching strategies for medical residents. learn more
